CHURCHES: Habitat's Primary Partners

Habitat and churches work together as servants of God, building simple, decent, affordable houses with people in need of shelter. This partnership results in benefits for the entire community:

Much of Habitat's work is made possible by churches, which provide prayer support, funding, volunteers, committee members and much more.

Churches see their ministry come alive when they reach out to help their neighbors in need by working with Habitat for Humanity. Habitat offers a unique opportunity for people in
the pew to experience their faith in new and exciting ways.

Each house that Habitat builds is a concrete manifestation of God's love and hope, proclaimed to the entire community.

Habitat for Humanity  demonstrates Christ's love by building simple, decent, affordable houses.

Founded on the "theology of the hammer," HFH brings people from all beliefs and backgrounds together to build in partnershipwith God's people in need.

It is only natural that churches should be primary partners in Habitat's work: Every Habitat  house is a concrete manifestation of God's love.
