Welcome to the Washington County Habitat for Humanity website!

Announcing the merger of Habitat for Humanity affiliates of Fayetteville and Springdale. The affiliate will be known as Habitat for Humanity of Washington County. Over the past eleven years, 96 people are being permanently housed through the efforts of HFH in Washington County. Of this number, 64 were children and 32 were adults.
HFH is not a give away program. Families help build someone else’s house and then their own. The home is sold at zero-percent interest with around a 20 year mortgage. HFH is the builder and the mortgage lender, said Melissa McCarville, co-president. Without the total community support none of this would be possible. The municipal, business and church communities assist in making the family’s dream of homeownership a reality, said Tommy Lewis, co-president.
